Youth Work Training and Support

The detached youth work team provide training and support for other organisations in the community who may be experiencing  youth anti-social behaviour in their local environment or building.

This may include community groups, libraries, youth centres, community buildings, housing associations etc.

The detached youth work team will attend your group to understand the problem, and provide bespoke training for staff or volunteers on working with young people and implementing strategies to reduce the problems of youth ASB.

The detached youth work team also provides opportunities as part of our ‘grow our own’ programme for young people (aged 16+) and adults to learn about the skills of becoming a detached youth worker.

This includes training, shadowing and voluntary experience of working as a detached youth worker.
